Professional Development Plan My initial goal is to secure a nursing leadership position with one of the healthcare organization in the Orlando area. My other immediate goal is to obtain national certification in Nursing Leadership and Management, and Nursing Research in 2013.My five year professional development plan is to enroll in the Nurse Executive Doctorate in Nursing Practice program and continue to influence healthcare alongside the other advanced nurse leaders. |
Political Advocacy Nursing political advocacy is vital to new laws that impact the nursing profession legislation. I anticipate getting involved in Florida Nurses Association and become active in notifying the House Representatives on issues that relate to nursing. |
